The team at MedScripts, Inc. recognizes these new challenges and now offers a unique web‐based system that provides our clients with an unprecedented level of security and functionality in managing our dictation and transcription workflow. Our EMR platform will allow our clients to execute all document processing online via their web account, (i.e. edit, print, batch‐print, fax, e‐sign, search, finalize, archive, etc.).
EXECUTE DOCUMENT PROCESSING—HIPAA COMPLIANCE
MedScripts, Inc.’s web‐based platform allows Providers and their staff to process documents directly from their web account. All user access to patient data is limited by user access levels set by administrative users. Each access is captured and recorded in an audit trail specific to each document. The audit trail captures date and time of access, and access along with the username and name of the user who requested access.
ENCRYPTION: The web‐based system provides a HIPAA compliant environment for document and audio file access and storage, including the use of 128‐bit encryption for transmission and 256‐bit encryption for storage of documents and audio files. Client Support Services: • Installation and Training: All providers and staff are trained in the use of the document management tools. In addition, live (web‐based) training courses will be provided as needed. Managers receive additional training in using administrative tools. • Live Online Support: Technical support staff is currently online 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday to response to any staff need. Additionally, our helpdesk is accessible during normal business hours. • Software Updates: All software enhancements (except customized requests) are provided via automatic updates on a regular basis.
